"Dam. It's too late."
"Eryk, Vigrid. We have to stop the Spider with the medallion! He shouldn't escape with it".
Only for this time you could lend me your quickness
Illith begins a desperate run to be able to stop the Hellbeast. She jumps through the stalactites trying to shorten distances. The knowledge that it's a lost cause, and that she is too weak now to defeat him, doesn't slow her pace. Meanwhile her hands, fruit of uncountable battles has mechanically picked her crossbow.
Maybe you'll escape, eventually, but at least I left you something to remember me
Double move to Z23 and pick her crossbow.
I make an improved speed stunt jump +10 (DC 20) if success she moves to Z22 if not she stays in Z24

Eryk shouts something else in Old Valnyr and points toward the tower. He then makes haste in that direction, followed quickly by Daenayl. Vigrid too gives chase after Ilith, mere seconds behind. Olheir and Irid quickly abandon the ballistae and also begin moving towards the far side of the tower in the hopes of heading off the beast.
"Damn. It's too late." Ilith’s voice is sharp with anger.
"Eryk, Vigrid. We have to stop the Spider with the medallion! He shouldn't escape with it".
Only for this time you could lend me your quickness…
Illith begins a desperate run to be able to stop the Helbeast. She jumps through the stalactites trying to shorten distances. The knowledge that it's a lost cause, and that she is too weak now to defeat him, doesn't slow her pace. Meanwhile her hands, fruit of uncountable battles begin reaching for her crossbow… then stop.
The spidery Helbeast’s blade-like legs move in rapid, staccato fashion down the side of the tower straight for Ilith. But to her surprise the creature bolts straight past her, clutching the thick, blackstone circlet to its chest.
Maybe you'll escape, eventually, but at least I left you something to remember me by.
The Helbeast scales one of the stony columns with astounding ease, turning towards the onrushing warriors with a defiant look of triumph. The creature slowly begins to raise the great circlet in the air, clutched in both talons high above its head for all to see. As broad across as the span of two men’s hands and nearly as thick as a fist, this amulet seems more suited for something the size of a troll or small giant. Its featureless black surface is smooth and beveled along the edges a the more you look at, you cannot help but feel as sense of… familiarity with it. It is as though you had seen it long ago or in a long forgotten dream.
Suddenly, a voice fills your ears as though coming from all around you…
“Einherier of the Hilvtivar, you have allowed the ages of your immortal struggle to dull your memory of things that were best not forgotten. The Amulets of the Valkyre are more than mere decorations for your great towers. Foolish warriors, your towers were built to defend them!"
"With this ring I shall bear your souls away as easily as Thunor’s chosen!”
The surface of the amulet begins to… stir. Its black surface begins to ripple and slowly churn about its circumference. You can feel it resonating deep within your heart, growing with each passing moment...
“You shall not rise with this dawn… nor ever again!”

Quote: This is a good moment to tell you about the spikes that the crossbow have?
Spikes...? I don't see no stinkin' crossbow spikes in yer writeup.
Quote: or using the crossbow as a club?
Are there rules for this specifically (crossbows as clubs)? I can see one being used as an improvised weaon which I think is probably your best bet.
Quote: Or my best chance (pag 194 IH drawing amunition for use with a ranged weapon (such as arrows, bolts, sling bullets OR SHURIKEN) is a free action. I have my throwing daggers (that are very similar to a shuriken, so when i see the spider thing coming or in my turn i hear that he is coming i can draw the crossbow as a part of my standard move action and the thorwing dagger as a free action to use to make my AAOO (17 damage is a very great thing in this desperate rounds! and the movement is really cool don't? )
Hmm... aren't your throwing daggers light weapons though? I think that's pushing the spirit of the rules (it's supposed to be just for "ammunition", not daggers, darts and such), especially since you will need to use it as a melee weapon to get a threat range going. If they were very light, then they would be more like shurikens in size and weight.
Oh, and now that you got me looking at your char sheet again (heh...), you might want to have a look over your weight allowance once this is all over and you level up (provided you're still alive of course... ) and just how much gear/ammunition you are willing to carry around on your person. As it stands I can see you have enough gear to burden you well into medium load if not more (you're eeking over light limit with weapons alone - not even counting the 21 lbs in crossbow bolts!).
But like I say, you can deal with it afterward, we'll let it slide for now...
